Choirs
– First Prez’s chancel choir is well known and highly
regarded in the community (voted third-best church choir in
Clark County by readers of the Jeffersonville Evening News).
The church also has a delightful bell choir and a lively
children’s music program.
The chancel choir meets for rehearsal on Wednesdays at 7:30
p.m. and sings during the worship service on Sunday. Under
the direction of Michael Neely, the choir performs a wide
range of pieces that lend inspiration to our worship
service.
The bell choir, under the direction of Trish Hammett,
rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and performs
periodically throughout the year. Their ringing is a
testament to the psalm that directs us to "make a joyful
noise to the Lord."
The children’s choir, under the direction of Glenda Hott, meets during the Sunday School hour. The
children enjoy singing praises and perform monthly during
the worship service.
