Don arrived at First Presbyterian Church of
Jeffersonville in the fall of 1996, after having
served for 12 years as Pastor of First Church of
Rockwood, Tennessee. He is a native of Louisville
and a graduate of The University of Louisville and
Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. |

Commissioned Lay Pastor: Steve Inman

Steve was raised in this congregation and, while
raising his family here, has joined our staff as a
part-time Lay Associate Pastor. While providing
pastoral care and leadership to our church, Steve
continues to work full-time as a manager in
wholesale food sales.

Church Secretary: Marlene Hall

Marlene has been part of our church for more than 25
years. She was raised in downtown Jeffersonville and
joined our staff after serving with the U.S. Air
Force in the United States and Great Britain.

Director of Music: Michael Neely
email me
Mick has been directing our wonderful chancel choir
and overseeing our musical program since 1994. A
lifelong Hoosier, he spent 28 years as Choral
Director at Floyd Central High School and 35 years
with the New Albany-Floyd County School System. In
his retirement, he continues to teach private voice
lessons as well as music education classes at his
alma mater, The University of Louisville.

Organist: Judy Diekhoff

Judy is a native
of Iowa with a BME degree from Wartburg College.
She began as organist here at First Prez in 2006
having musical experience in numerous churches. Her
background includes church and school secretary,
public and private teacher, and accompanist duties.

Bell Choir Director: Patricia Hammett
Trish began directing our Handbell Choir in 2000,
and it’s been a joy to see the program grow and
develop under her leadership. She holds a degree in
music education from Indiana State University.

Children’s Music Coordinator: Glenda Hott

Glenda began
directing our KIDZ CHOIR in September of 2006. She
holds degrees in various areas of education from
Eastern Kentucky University and Indiana University.
She is currently the Director of Student Services
and Special Education with the New Albany-Floyd
County school system.

Pastor Emeritus: James H. Brown
Jim faithfully served as our pastor from 1979
through 1995. Though he now enjoys retirement, he
continues to take an active part in the worship and
work of our congregation.
