First Presbyterian Church is pleased to offer its members
and friends a variety of regularly scheduled worship
services.
Our Sunday service is held in the sanctuary and follows the
order in the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship.
Music for the Sunday service is provided by our chancel,
bell and children’s choirs, along with a variety of musical
guests.
Wednesday evening finds us in the upstairs chapel for a
"come as you are" prayer meeting where, on a rotating basis,
we follow the denomination’s liturgies for Evening Prayer, a
Brief Order for the Lord’s Supper, a Service for Wholeness
and Prayer at the Close of Day. Worshippers on Wednesday
night enjoy singing gospel hymns and praise songs led by
volunteer musicians from the congregation.
On Saturday evenings, we gather in the chapel for an
informal, contemporary service, with music provided by our
praise band.
